Day 6 - Profile Page
Did I complete day 4, 5, and 6 today? Yeah. Yeah I did. ANyWay, on to today’s actual design:
Design a Profile Page
I started by sketching up some wireframes to get my thoughts going. At first, I wanted to design a profile page for a healthcare app. Then, I thought about creating one for a fitness instructor.
I officially decided on a profile page for a photographer.
Below is a low fidelity wireframe sketch after deciding to design a photographer’s profile page.
Features:
circular profile picture to showcase face
name and title, or short bio
book button, message button
different sections to showcase different styles of photography.
The idea behind this design is to showcase the photographer’s skills so users can decide if they are a good fit.
A clear CTA (call to action) is featured near the middle/top of page so users can easily book a session.
Below is a mid-fidelity wireframe:
I decided to keep many atoms and molecules the same when transferring these thoughts to a final design. Something I did change was the pink highlight under the sections titles to indicate which section the user was viewing. I decided to get out of the theme and stick to a more universal design decision by making this black instead.
Here is my final design:
